Key Milestones
From a small prayer group in Belfast to an international mission serving four countries.
The Beginning
Go For God Charity was founded in Belfast by Pastor Laurence Edgar with a vision to serve the local community and beyond through practical, faith-driven action.
Philippines Church Project
Funded the construction of a proper brick church building for Pastor Oscar and his wife Rona, replacing unsafe stick huts where they ministered to their community.
Expanded Kenya Operations
Met urgent needs for families and ministries in Kenya and beyond, while continuing to strengthen our work in Uganda, Philippines, and Belfast.
First Uganda Mission
Expanded internationally with our first outreach to Uganda, focusing on clean water access and supporting vulnerable children through local partnerships.
India & Romania Outreach
Sent a lorry filled with clothes and household items to Romania. Began supporting Pastor Jacob in India during times of persecution and hardship.
12 Water Wells & Growing
Celebrated the completion of our 12th water well in Uganda. Now serving 500+ children across four countries with education, water, shelter, and spiritual support.

Meet Our Founder
The heart and vision behind Go For God Charity.
Pastor Laurence Edgar founded Go For God Charity in 2017 with a simple conviction: that faith must be lived through action. Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, he has spent years building bridges between local communities and international missions, ensuring that every donation reaches those who need it most.
His leadership has taken the charity from a local prayer group to an international organization serving four countries, all while maintaining the personal touch and spiritual foundation that makes Go For God unique.
